This is what Scripture has to say about “another gospel”:
Galatians 1: 6-9
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

I stopped watching Oprah about a year ago when I realized she was a pseudo-Christian. I do however check her out once in a while to see what she’s up to. You cannot be both a Christian and a New Age believer as Oprah is. Here is what God’s Word has to say about that:

2 Corinthians 6:14-17
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.


I would challenge all Oprah fans who profess to be believers to examine themselves in this regard. The lines are quickly being drawn between true followers of Christ who cling tenaciously to His Word and those who pattern themselves after the world.
