JUST A COUPLE OF THINGS

I found an article today on the topic of environmentalism that I think gives a balanced view in light of the Bible's teachings. Although God's Word teaches that we are to be good stewards, the majority of environmentalist are using the world's "groanings" as a front to implement a worldwide unity (rebellion) against the Creator of all that is, rather than as an indication of the effects of sin on the world and a warning to avoid God's coming wrath against Satan and his forces. Read Bible Prophecy and Environmentalism by Todd Strandberg at the Rapture Ready website. Although I'm not sure I agree with everything Strandberg says in this article about the source of energy we should be using (nuclear), I agree with his stance in general. You can also read my article, ECO SALVATION?, which deals with a similar topic and reveals the New Age philosophy behind much of the environmental program.

In the past few weeks I've received some comments on my article about the Noahide Laws by somebody who strongly believes that all Christians will go through the 7-year Tribulation period prophesied in Scripture. It was because of this that I have been reading many articles today at the Rapture Ready website after browsing through one of Carla's latest posts (Back to Reality - 10 End-Time Signs for Heathens) linking to their site. Defending the Pre-Trib Rapture, another article by Todd Strandberg answers some of the objections some Christians have to the idea of the rapture of the church at the beginning of the Tribulation, as well as some of the problems that arise with this view.

One of the main reasons those who defend the church's presence during the Tribulation is that they think pre-tribbers will be fooled into accepting the anti-christ as the one who shows up in the clouds as part of his attempt to deceive even the elect. Although I do understand that Satan has many tricks up his sleeve, I also believe that those who have a love of the truth will also be given discernment in this area. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 addresses this topic. For this reason, I personally am not afraid of being deceived. This is not a matter of being prideful or of burying my head in the sand, but rather because of my confidence and trust in Christ's work on the cross and my love for the written Word including my understanding of prophetic events about lying signs and wonders and the modern-day false prophets. I do think that Satan will provide his own theory to explain the rapture away to those who are left behind, and that the technology may exist to create a fake type of rapture. When I first heard about this quite some time ago it gave me some cause for worry for a time, until I remembered that God knows who His own are and that His sheep know His voice. There is no doubt in my heart and mind where my faith and hope lie, and so I have confidence that He will keep me in the shadow of His wings.

"...for I know whom I have believed,
and am persuaded that he is able
to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."
( 2 Timothy 1:12)

There have been a number of times I have wavered from the pre-tribulation view, but I have to keep coming back to it every time because I always run into a serious snag with all the others. Pre-trib just makes the most sense according to Scripture most any way I look at it. Although I'm not sure I agree unequivocally with everything on this site (babes being snatched from the womb's of unsaved women at the rapture?), it does provide a whole truckload of good information for anyone struggling with the issue. Take some time to check it out for yourself. As always, be a Berean; if it doesn't line up with Scripture, toss it out.

PROGRESS IN THE NEW WORLD ORDER AND ITS RELATION TO BIBLE PROPHECY

(America's Stonehenge) first line says that we are to maintain the earth's population under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature. This is population control. It now appears under the guise of environmentalism, the latest ploy of the New World Order.

This morning I discovered a new (to me) website exposing the plans to create a New World Order, which I have added to my sidebar. It is called the End Times Watch Media (please note that it does not claim to be a Christian website as far as I can tell). This movement (the NWO) is not a new one, but I have been keeping a close eye on it for a few years now, as I believe it is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy regarding the Antichrist's appearance. Although I do not agree that this is something we can stop (as this website claims and attempts to do), it contains some very enlightening information regarding the rapid growth and control by those within its parameters. The information revealed in the Endgame Movie (you can watch it on their website) is the reason I no longer vote in any federal government elections. I have come to understand and believe that all politicians are really on the same side, whether they understand it or not. Many are probably unwitting pawns. We are at a place and time in history where world politics is beginning to supersede and eclipse just about everything happening on the federal level in our governments. Our autonomy is being given away for the sake of peace and prosperity, a thinly veiled guise for control of the world's resources by the NWO. The reality of the North American Union is just a matter of time now. It has to happen in order to compete with other economic giants like Asia and the European Union. This will then lead to the 10 major trading blocks with its 10 heads (horns/kings) described in the book of Revelation. The map has already been created outlining these trading blocks and can be seen here.

This movie is a long work (2 hours and 20 minutes), but worth watching as it outlines history's timeline and explains the events of history, thereby exposing the agenda of the Bilderbergs. The desire for world domination is not a myth and it is not a theory. It is prophecy being played out before our very eyes; that is, if one is willing to do some research. It is not well known and understood by the general public, as it has been well-hidden by its proponents for the most part. Only in the last ten years has its workings become more widely known, and that mostly due to the increase in knowledge (a fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy) and the widespread use of the internet. Its influence is being felt in all sectors of society at the present time and at an ever-increasing rate. It's latest ploy is the environmental movement, using it as a cover-up for population control by saying that it is people who are responsible for the disastrous changes taking place on the earth, not the order of the planets, the impact of the sun, and ultimately God Himself. Alex Jones, the movie's creator, calls this grab for global power a "mad rush for godhood".

We have only one hope. If you are a Christian according to what Scripture teaches, you are an alien and foreigner to this world's system, which is currently controlled by the prince of the power of the air. You are a citizen of a heavenly kingdom which will rule and reign when Christ comes to regain His rightful place. Scripture says that God will create a new heaven and a new earth, destroying any vestiges of the person and work of Satan, the rebellious one, who will be cast into the lake of fire along with those who follow him and reject Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There are no other alternatives. If you have not yet turned to God in repentance and accepted His Son, Jesus Christ, as your personal Savior and Lord, it is time to do so, as this scenario is developing rapidly. It is appointed unto man once to die and then the judgement will take place. Christ is your only hope of salvation from this evil scenario taking place.

ECO SALVATION?

Everyone reading this is aware that global warming is probably taking place. If the news reports of all the wild weather are accurate (and I think they are) , it is highly possible that it is due to the rapidly changing climate of the earth. There are some scientist who believe the opposite - that the earth is actually cooling off. Who's really right? I can't say for certain. But I am enjoying the milder winter we've been having so far.





It is right to pray for those who are being battered by tropical storms and dealing with the effects of an earthquake, pray that this would be an opportunity for them them hear the true message of salvation according to the Scriptures and turn to Christ before it is too late. It must be devastating to lose family members or a home or business to these natural disasters. But it will be tragic if they die without Christ.

It does seem however that the environmentalists are capitalizing on these events to push a form of earth worship or eco religion. If you've never heard of the Gaia Hypothesis, check it out. Gaia was the Greek goddess of the earth (Mother Earth). There are Gaia retreats, Gaia churches, Gaia bands and festivals. There is even a Gaia Centre, which opened in 2005 marking the launch of the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. Here you can read an article called Gaia, our Living, Awakening Earth (It's author says: "I would like you to come with me on a great adventure, an exploration of humanity's potential as seen through the eyes of the planet, and to share with me a vision of our evolutionary future. The journey will take us beyond this place and time, allowing us to stand back and behold humanity afresh, to consider new ways of seeing ourselves in relation to the whole evolutionary process. We shall see that something miraculous may be taking place on this planet, on this blue pearl of ours. Humanity could be on the threshold of an evolutionary leap, a leap that could occur in a flash of evolutionary time, a leap such as occurs only once in a billion years. the changes leading to this leap are taking place right before our eyes-- or rather right behind them, within our own minds." - Peter Russel, 1983).

It seems they are all gaga over Gaia. Well, they have to worship something. In case you hadn't noticed, Gaia is usually depicted as being pregnant. I keep wondering if this doesn't have something to do with the birth of the Beast described in the apocolyptic writings of Scripture.

Romans 1:18-23 talks about earth worship~

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

The majority of the scientists and politicians who are pushing the world to protect and save it do not believe that the God of the Bible is the creator of the universe. They are, by and large, evolutionists and atheists.

How, as a Christian, are we to respond to this movement? We are called to be good stewards of the earth, that is true. I'm all for recycling, using wind power, etc. But the environmentalist movement goes way beyond that, and I find it impossible to believe that it could be a good thing to be joining hands with any person or organization that is promoting earth worship. They are up to no good thing. If you go to Roll Over Menno, you can read some of the things that the Mennonites are involved in with these groups on their November 14th and 17th postings. This should not be happening! What fellowship hath Christ with Belial?

I came across two startling videos on Youtube this Spring which really opened my eyes to what is going on with the whole environmentalist movement. This is a HUGE movement. As Paul Hawken, environmentalist, researcher, and author of Blessed Unrest says, it has come in under the radar. They do have an agenda. Are you familiar with it?

I encourage you to check out all the links on this page to see what is being planned for the inhabitants planet earth. Environmentalists insist that we can save this planet from its path of destruction and they will try to do it by any means, even to the point of taking drastic measures to control population by dastardly means. But GOD says the earth WILL pass away in 2 Peter 3 ~ "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." Go here to read the chapter in its entirety to see how we are to respond to this news. Who are you going to believe, God the author of all truth, or Satan the father of lies?

In light of the fact that the world's religions are also beginning to unite, and with what is going on in the Middle East Peace Process, it does appear that we are in the final stages of the last days.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
