A fine article by Ken Silva on Apprising.org entitled THOMAS KEATING ON CONTEMPLATIVE/CENTERING PRAYER includes a revealing quote by Keating regarding contemplative/centering prayer and its connection to gnostic mysticism. About the quote Silva says,

I will be leaving tomorrow morning to bring my daughter back this way (a ten hour trip one way) as she has decided this is God's will for her for the time being. Please pray for our travel safety and for her to find a summer job. She is looking forward to living with my older daughter and her husband when she returns.
